❤️ Chakra 1 – The Root Chakra
An Energising, Grounding Yoga Flow
The Root Chakra (Mulādhāra) is the foundation of our entire energy system — the place where we find our sense of safety, stability, and connection to the earth.
This theme invites us to notice when our thoughts or emotions leave us feeling untethered or “less than,” and to gently guide ourselves back to a state of grounded presence.
The Root Chakra provides the solid base from which all the higher chakras can open and grow.
It reminds us that before we reach upward, we must first root downward — cultivating trust in ourselves and in the world we live in.
At its heart, Mulādhāra teaches us that we are enough, just as we are. When we root deeply into that truth, we begin to feel secure, supported, and connected to the steady rhythm of life itself.
This week’s physical practice is an energising, grounding flow — designed to help you stabilise your body, calm your mind, and reconnect to your inner strength.
🧡 Chakra 2 – The Sacral Chakra
A Restorative Gentle Stretch Flow
The Sacral Chakra (Svādhiṣṭhāna) is our centre of creativity, flow, sensuality, and emotional expression.
It governs our ability to feel deeply, to connect with pleasure, and to move with life rather than against it.
This week’s practice is a restorative gentle stretch flow, inviting you to soften, surrender, and reconnect with your natural sense of ease and joy.
So, put down your to-do lists. Loosen your grip on the need to “do more” or “be more.”
Instead, give yourself permission to simply feel — to move intuitively and allow pleasure and joy to rise naturally within you.
The element of this chakra is Water, reminding us to flow, adapt, and move with grace.
Its colour is a vibrant orange, and it’s symbolised by a six-petalled lotus and a crescent moon, reflecting its connection to the moon’s cycles and the ever-shifting tides of emotion.
Let this practice be your invitation to soften into stillness, reconnect with your creative spark, and embrace the beauty of simply being.
